Chapter Ten
ANGEL WEDDING


Three weeks after the invitation were sent every angel in heaven and human in Tamrone and Sherry’s family attended the wedding. Males were dressed in white suits with black ties, girls and older light angels were dressed in a low-drop long white dress with a heaven insignia on the waist, younger white angels were dressed in silvery and glittery  knee-high dresses, and black angels were dressed in spaghetti strap black gowns. Tamrone’s oldest school friend, Sammy was best man; there were a lot of Ushers, and Brides Maids, Searra, being the youngest out of all the angels was Flower Girl. Tamrone walked down the aisle; alone and proud, looking like any normal and human groom. Lusta came in with God!
Since, she didn’t know her birth father, had no adoptive father, and Emisha had disappeared. God was the father of everything on Earth. So, she guessed it would be acceptable. Lusta wore a slim red dress, she had no other dress. Arena and Trance had made her a pure diamond necklace just before the wedding.

Rocky had brought back Lusta’s bat earrings, her favorite treasure. Sara and Emi had worked their magic for matching shoes. Cassandra just fixed Lusta’s hair, instead of having it up in a bun, it hung down her back, crimped, curled at the end, and pearls were strewn throughout the strands of hair. Lusta looked younger this way, and Tamrone second-guessed her age, but it didn’t matter now, he loved her. Once the two were bonded by vocally, they kissed to be bonded spiritually.

Humans stood up clapped and cheered, angels remained seated, but clapped and flapped their wings happily. It was a special wedding because God was there to give the couple a little something extra. Fireworks full of red ‘glitter’ exploded around Tamrone and Lusta. This red ‘glitter’ was special magic from Rose. The red glitter illuminated Tamrone and Lusta and it bonded them together forever, unable to break up.

Sammy presented the 24-carrot diamond ring. Sara, who Lusta always considered a sister as well, presented a plain gold ring. Lusta had tears stream down her face, it was weird, no one had ever seen her this happy before maybe, Lusta wasn’t all about lust and loneliness. Tamrone and Lusta kissed again. Lusta could not afford a special wedding, but Tamrone could.

After the wedding, Tamrone had something else planned for Lusta and her friends.
“If you all are hungry and want to join us, we invite you all to accompany us to the 5-star restaurant down the street.” Tamrone announced.
God’s new angel army had to admit it had been a while since they last ate human food, but it would be nice to try it again.

“Tamrone, I don’t know how to thank you enough, but there is one thing here I do not have, and it will be very hard, almost impossible, for you to give me.” Lusta clutched Tamrone’s shirt desperately.

“I’ll do anything to make you as happy as possible! Tell me, what else you desire?” Tamrone grasped Lusta’s hands between his.

“You make me very happy, Tamrone, but even if I have you, my friends, and every other materialistic thing I could want, what good is it, if I can’t share it with the person, who deserves it most? Tamrone, Emisha is dead and gone, but not in my heart, she deserves all these wonderful things I have, and she died before knowing real happiness. It’s not fair I have all the things she did not, but there is nothing you can do.” Lusta turned to walk into the restaurant.

“There is one thing I can do.” Tamrone though of something stupid, but if it would make Lusta happy, it would be well worth it.

“What?” Lusta turned around.

“Wait and I’ll show you.” Tamrone gathered up everything that Lusta and him owned, that Emisha never had, and dumped them as the humans and angels danced and ate inside.

Lusta kissed Tamrone in the rain, happy that she finally thought of someone else other than herself. One of the crystal pearls, which Lusta had strewn through her hair by Cassandra, at the wedding, landed on a pathway, down in Hell, where a dark woman was walking. This woman threw back the cloak from her head and it was Emisha! Everything else had burned! For some reason, the crystal stone was so beautiful it made Emisha happy and she kept it as a remembrance of her beloved friend, Lusta.

Lusta made a prayer that her most valued treasure, besides, her bat earrings, would reach Emisha. Tamrone made a prayer to help Emisha live a happy life in Hell. It didn’t seem to bother Emisha that she was in Hell. She hummed happily as she stowed the crystal pearl away from Satan. Tamrone and Lusta walked back to the restaurant, but as they approached it, they heard screaming, and entered to find the place on fire!

Somebody was angry...
